Intermediate: Borderline Too Complex Exfoliation

Covers physical and chemical exfoliation steps. Always go gentle on your skin, and remember that more does not equal better. Add/remove exfoliation steps as necessary, according to how sensitive your skin is. As the efficacy of chemical exfoliation products are usually pH dependent, it is advised to apply them on a bare dry face after your cleanse. Precautions for Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs): Do not use without UV protection. This is because AHAs increase the photosensitivity of your skin, making it more vulnerable to UV damage and resulting in increased pigmentation of scars.
